It just hurts soo much...everything...just hurts...Everyone thinks I'm crazy or they have forgotten me.

And the hallucinations and nightmares aren't helping with the "crazy" part.

It just seems...that I can't do anything right. Even in the few good dreams I get...I don't know if I'm even that good in those...

Yeah, but kindness the only thing that could fill us. I just hate how hard it is to feel loved, but it took you years too right?

Ummm, I don't know if you noticed or not. But Derek has a new family now...and doesn't remember being my older brother.

When I tried to tell Mr and Misses Matthews about Derek and the app, they look at me strangely and say they never heard of them. I'm pretty sure they think I'm crazy and I haven't even told them about the hallucinations or the nightmares yet.

[She feels a flash of confusion when he mentions her having trouble feeling loved, but quickly squashes it. That's the second time today he's said something to her almost as if she's supposed to know him... and she's not keen to add herself to the list of people who've supposedly forgotten him. That probably wouldn't lead this conversation in a very good direction.]

I'm familiar with his family...

[Since Derek's little brother is her best friend and his little sister is her little brother's girlfriend... wait, is that why he lashed out at 'Sakura'? And when he said Matthews... did he mean the same Matthews as Amanda's family? They had adopted all of their children, according to Amanda.]

If the Matthews aren't on the app, then they won't notice when anything strange happens. Unless it's like... monsters in the street, and then they'll just act like it's normal to have monsters in the street.

Yeah...a family without a messed up me...he pushes me aside like a pest now and this was just after he said he would be there for me. I can't turn to Tatsuo either and I assumed you forgot me too.

Which, holy crap, you have no idea how relived I am that you remember me. I've felt like I was going insane with everyone insisting that no one's memories has been altered.

[Li-Na will feel bad about this later, but right now she just wants him calm. Still, she can empathize with how he's feeling. Every time someone she met and became friends with due to Retrospec gets reset... it's jarring and distressing.]

I'm sorry that happened. Derek can be very... stubborn. And rude. Especially when he decides he doesn't like someone.

It's hard losing someone you consider family. I get that. Past me, Lenalee, she was taken away from her brother. She didn't see him for three years.

[Tears from laughing so hard come down his face and after some time he stops. Taking deep breaths with a big smile on his face]

Ah...its been forever since I laughed like that...

Don't get me wrong, I love the bastard. He's my older brother, even if we are adopted but still...

[He blushes hard realizing what he just said]

Yeah...he kept on going on when I tried to run away once about how family is sticking together, bla bla...is...is this what he was talking about?

Yes. That's what he meant. Family support each other, even when someone is being infuriating or says something hurtful. That is what being family means, sticking together through the good times and the bad.

I'm not sure about Derek... memories are tricky things. Maybe you should talk to Zee. If Derek's memories are messed up... Zee might be able to give you some advice.

As for the Matthews... I think as long as you're honest with them, it will be okay. Other than the stuff with Retrospec of course. It's okay to ask them for help.

[One of the most important things to learn in ballet is how to not let your own emotions show on your face as you dance. People should never see the physical strain in on your face, only the emotions of the character you're portraying. And it takes every bit of her training to keep her confusion from showing on her face whenever Al mentions things that just don't make sense.]

[He smiles and looks hopeful, way better then when they first sat down. Her showing faith in him, even after just blowing up. Fed something that he needed, he didn't know what. But his heart didn't feel so empty.]

Thanks Li-Na, your a better friend then I deserve. Now I seriously have to make sure I do, I can't make you waste the faith your putting in me.

Yeah, I will be alright. Say sorry to Sakura for me will ya? I...I don't think I can face her for a while.

Maybe try to have a little faith in yourself, too? Other people having faith in you is nice, but only by having some faith in yourself will you be able to do anything. And I'll tell Sakura.
